While teachers and staff are working hard on their workday, we invite 3rd-8th grade students to this free day of blues and art! In partnership with the Museum of Art and Archaeology, participants will learn about blues music and visual art from the Harlem Renaissance in an interactive, fun-filled day. Our educators will be on hand to lead students in workshops like beginning harmonica, slide guitar, instrument making, the art and life of Romare Bearden, and more! There will be a showcase at the end of the day for parents. Registration information will be made available soon.
